Hey everyone!
Today, we had an exhibition debate for the sec 1s and 2s and Vanessa and I did a presentation.
KUDOS to all the debaters namely, Diane, Jacq, Chloe, Jie Yun, Grace and Kai Ning. Good job y'all!! haha. Ok anyways, the floor debate was not a very successful one but it doesn't matter because we tried our best. Thanks to
Marshall too for donating $10 77th Street vouchers to us.
The motions for this Saturday's debate is up so please everybody remember to check the debate board. Sec 1 and 2 debaters, spread the word about debate and the SJI compeition.

Please pay the full amount straight away and not in small amounts slowly to prevent confusion on whether you paid already.

Hey everyone.
So this is the new skin for the debate blog. Not to shabby is it? Haha. I did it, with little to no help from Vanessa. Ok, compliments to her for the tagbox.
Anyway, tomorrow there is training for Clara, Vanessa, Aisyah, Chloe, Gillian and Holly, so be there on time!
Hope to see more people attend this blog on a weekly basis, even during school days because we all know that some of you forget to go check the school debate board and end up rushing to finish the debate speeches. So the internet is also handy in times of situations like this. Update yourself via this blog and make it a habit so you won't forget!

The Debating and Oratorical Society was formed in September 2005.
This club allows students to participate in debates during their trainings and learn more about matters concerning the world.
The topics we discuss range from social to political matters and we also organise camps during our holidays.
